Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes Absolutely!
Do you rush off straight after first dance?
Not at all. I believe the energy of your evening reception is a vital chapter of your story. I stay well past the first dance to document the atmosphere
Do you take traditional family portraits?
Of course. While my core approach is documentary and unposed, I completely understand the value of family portraits. I am always happy to capture group photographs.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Yes! If you are booking me for a full-day wedding, I am happy to say that all UK travel expenses are already included in your investment. For shorter, intimate celebrations, complimentary travel covers a 50-mile radius from London. If your wedding is slightly further afield, I will simply add a small, transparent travel fee to your quote.
Should we book a second photographer?
For most weddings, I shoot solo and am fully equipped to capture the complete story of your day! That being said, a second photographer can be a fantastic addition if you are planning a larger wedding, or if the two of you are getting ready miles apart and want both mornings captured simultaneously.
We are hiring a videographer. how do you work together?
That is wonderful. Having spent years working as a behind-the-scenes stills photographer on active film sets, I am incredibly comfortable and experienced working alongside video crews. I prioritise a collaborative approach, ensuring your videographer and I work seamlessly together to capture the cinematic narrative of your day without ever getting in each other's way.
Are you insured?
I am fully covered by both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I shoot exclusively with industry-leading equipment and always carry comprehensive backup gear to ensure seamless coverage. Every photograph is instantly recorded onto dual memory cards the moment it is taken. These cards remain securely on my person until I return to the studio,
What happens in the unlikely event of illness or an emergency?
While I am proud to say this has never happened in over 8 years, I believe in being fully prepared for any eventuality. In the highly unlikely event of a severe emergency, I have a plan in place. As an active member of several professional photography networks, I would secure a trusted replacement who mirrors my documentary and cinematic style, ensuring your day is captured beautifully.
When do we get to see the photographs?
I know you will be eager to see your wedding photos! I generally ask couples to allow about six weeks for the delivery of the final, fully edited gallery.
